These 19 food freedom journal prompts will help you make peace with food and get clear on what it means to YOU to be well nourished. Intuitive Eating is all about listening to YOUR body and journaling can be a really helpful tool in helping you tune into it!
Journaling has become a HUGE part of my life this past year…..but it hasn’t always been. I could never really get into journaling. I didn’t know what to write. I didn’t allow myself to write what I was actually feeling. I would just stare at blank pages and not get anywhere.
But then I found Katie Dalebout, the host of the Let it Out Podcast. She constantly talks about how journaling changed her life. She wrote a book called Let it Out so I ordered it and figured I’d give journaling another shot.
I made it my goal to do one of the journal exercises every morning BEFORE opening my phone or laptop. At first, it was really hard to not look at my phone but over time it got easier. And now I don’t really even think about it, I just go strait for my journal! Since that day I started, I have journaled pretty much every single morning since then. I realized I’m someone who LOVES journal prompts (not just free for all journaling…ya girl needs some guidance).
Journaling has become my favorite part of my morning routine. I look forward to checking in with myself and releasing any bad vibes. It seriously set the tone for my whole day. Journaling was also HUGE for me in making peace with food and my body. It really helped me let go of my limiting beliefs, work through painful thoughts/emotions and get clear on how I want to feel. This is why I want to share the journal prompts that really helped me with you! I want you to free yourself from constantly thinking about food and your body and make space in your life for what really matters to you!
“Writing in a journal reminds you of your goals and of your learning in life. It offers a place where you can hold a deliberate, thoughtful conversation with yourself.”
Robin S. Sharma
