I'm excited to share this short and sweet practice with you that completely shifted my energy this morning. I woke up feeling unwell and I was grumpy that I was unwell. After 1-3 minutes of doing this, my vibration shifted from grumpy, resistant and dissatisfied to appreciative, satisfied, open and present. I am excited for you to play with this for yourself and see where it takes you.

I'd also love to hear from you if you feel like talking to a stranger. Anyways, yeah, I just wanted to show my appreciation, which is kind of funny, because that's what this episode is about. And I did not do that on purpose. So raising your vibration in three minutes is what this episode is all about. So this is just going to be I'm going to share a little practice with you that I did. I can like flow it into this morning that was so shifting for me. And it literally took like one to three minutes. So I'm super excited to share this with you and have you play with it and see what unfolds for you. So I woke up feeling grumpy because I've kind of had a cold and I just woke up being like, Oh, the cold still here like fuck this shit like, this is gonna be over. And just feeling grumpy that I still wasn't feeling you know, 100% physically well, and I'm not feeling like, you know, terrible, just a little, just a little off. But it's enough that like, I feel like the more you get in tune with your alignment energy, the more aware you are of subtle changes and the more aware you are of what's going on within you. So anyway, so it's quite aware of the things I was feeling this morning, and not feeling 100% So I drink my matcha I chilled I read some of my book. And then I decided to go on a walk. And I had this ping that I shouldn't wear headphones I like almost always walk with headphones and listen to a podcast or call my family. Who knows what else I'm doing mostly podcasts. So and I just had this feeling of like, I'm not supposed to wear headphones on this walk. Like I think it would be actually probably really great for me to not wear headphones like okay, so I followed that ping and didn't bring my headphones on the walk. And I was like Okay, here we go, I'm just going to be with this kind of like resistance to not feeling that great. And just go on a walk and whatever. So I just noticed the resistance and the dissatisfaction and even I wasn't even allowing myself to enjoy the walk it was almost like I was just like going through the motions to get to the end of the walk. And then I was gonna go through the next thing to get to the next thing and it was like I was trying just trying to get to the next thing because I didn't want to be in The Now thing because the now thing was like not feeling 100% physically well and I was like noticing myself wanting to like resist that or avoid that or feeling dissatisfied with it. So I observed that. And I noticed my brain and asking the question like what would be satisfying today? What could I do today? That would be satisfying what would be satisfying today? And then I realized, Oh, that's very interesting. Like I was very observant of the thoughts went out of my brain I'm like that's interesting because what would be satisfying implies the future and implies not now, which meant I was looking for satisfaction. They're not here and you can never find it there because there okay, the future never exists. All we have is here all we have is now the only place that satisfaction can be found is now you can't find now satisfaction thinking about later but sadness or maybe you can get a little satisfied now and thinking about later satisfaction but it's not going to be to the level that is available in the now sounds like the only time you can feel satisfaction is now and I was trying to figure out how I could get it later because I had already written off the now basically. So I noticed my brain doing that thing and where it was like looking to the future. Sure, okay, well now it's not satisfying. So what would be satisfying in the future aka not now, because I'm fucked now. I'm just getting. So I noticed that and I asked myself, okay, what is satisfying to bring myself back to the present back to the now. And I was just like, Okay, what is satisfying. And then I immediately through that question just like dropped into the present moment, I started noticing my body and my feet walking on the ground and the plants and the trees, and it just was like, already, like a softening of just coming back to now and realizing that like, I'm not gonna find satisfaction thinking about what I'm gonna do. What I could do that may be satisfying in two hours or an hour or after this walk. It's like the only satisfaction is available right now. And it's always available now. So I got this little ping, I was like, when I ask the question, what is satisfying, then I my brain, obviously, when to start answering that question, well, what is satisfying? Well, I guess the trees and the nature are kind of satisfying. And then I got this ping to put on a voice memo on my phone. And I'm not sure why. Now I'm like, I don't know why I recorded it, but seemed like the right thing to do at the time. So you don't have to use a voice memo. But you can and turned on the voice memo on my phone. And I just started doing a little appreciation. Rampage. And so I started with, I appreciate these new leggings that I bought yesterday that I'm wearing that fits so well that are so comfortable. That looks so good. I love so much. I appreciate that the weather has shifted recently. And I'm not like sweating my ass off right now. But it like feels so good outside. And I'm appreciating the like beautiful flowers all around me. And I just kept going and going and going. And within like a minute or two I was smiling and laughing. And even just then when I said those three things, when I rehashed it to you just now I could feel the rising of my energy of my vibration of the appreciation within me. And yeah, so after like a minute or two, I started actually feeling really appreciative and satisfied with the now and eager for what's coming. So I wanted to share that little practice with you in case it's something that you want to play around with. But I want to make sure I point out that it's something to play around with like to play with, don't force it or don't work too hard. Like if you feel like it only brings up more dissatisfaction and more like and more resistance, like don't do it. That's just going to create continue snowballing the moment in that unhelpful direction. This is really to be done with a very light touch a very playful touch, no force, you just play with it and see what happens. Okay. And also, as best you can be very authentic in your appreciation, meaning, don't try to appreciate, say, don't just say you appreciate something if you don't actually feel like you can appreciate it right now. Like if you say, like for me this morning, I never would have said like, I appreciate like, my wonderful health, although I do think I have wonderful health. And like most 99% of the time, I would feel very appreciative of that. But that one for me brought up more resistance. Because if I would have said, I appreciate my health, I would have been like, No, I'm fucking sick. Like, that's bullshit. You know, why didn't we just would have like, reminded me of oh, I actually don't feel well. And then I'd be like, Oh, I don't feel ah, you know what I mean? So just like notice that and actually say things that you genuinely can't appreciate right now. And for you, it might, it might be like me, where you start as simple as something like the closest thing to you like you're something you're wearing that you really like, or a tree that looks really cool. Like it can be you can start just like so simple. Like don't feel like you have to like make yourself feel appreciative of like the big things like health or even your partner, or certain things like that, like, just take it easy. Play with it. And really only go where you feel true appreciation and this moment and like the thing is you're not It's not like you're looking for things to appreciate, although you kind of are you're moreso allowing what is satisfying in the moment, what can I appreciate right now and you're moreso allowing that appreciation and kind of letting it letting it flow, letting it come to you rather than forcefully looking for what's something I can appreciate what something I could appreciate, like, if you're feeling like that, like take a step back. Maybe not the activity for you, or just like slow it down, chill it out. Take it easy, like don't work hard at this that is going to defeat the purpose. So that is all I'm really excited. for you to try this, it was yeah, just so wonderful for me this morning. And I think the way that I approached it, where I really kind of just allowed myself to flow into this practice and really have do it with a light touch like that was, yeah, just really, really powerful. Because I think, you know, you've may have heard about appreciation rampages on Abraham Hicks, and it's like, I gotta go appreciate and then you maybe try to like, work hard and like ratchet your energy up and like force your energy up. And like, that's just not the energy of this that usually will take our energy down and create more resistance and more momentum and the direction that we're trying to avoid. So it's really kind of allowing yourself to like, How can I like, lightly, gently, like, roll my boat in another direction, you know what it means like each like say your boat is like veering off into the trees, you would probably like, take your paddle and like, oh, like each time you appreciate something, you're like, giving it a little paddle in a different direction. Like, okay, let's like, gently like paddle away from that direction that isn't, you know, flowing where we want to go. Let's see if we can still flow with where the river is taking us. We're not going to try to like forcefully, like, go in the opposite direction immediately. But can we start like pivoting the boat a little bit and then see where we end up. So hope you like that little analogy. But thank you so much for listening. I hope you have an incredible rest of your day.
